The Barnes Foundation
Monday, August 9, 2021 at 2pm

Please join us for an ICMA-Pop-Ups event in Philadelphia. ICMA-Pop-Ups is a new program through which we help ICMA members organize small regional gatherings, bringing people together after our period of social distancing.

About the event
ICMA members are warmly invited to an informal gathering at the Barnes Foundation on Monday, August 9, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Amy Gillette (collections research associate) and Kaelin Jewell (senior instructor) will give a brief introduction to the collection and its history, including current work on the medieval objects. Attendees will then be welcome to roam the collection and join a casual discussion at 4:00 p.m. Admission is free for up to 20 people; others may contact reserve@barnesfoundation.org for tickets.

Those who would like to continue the conversation may gather at Giant for drinks and eats, located a few blocks away from the Barnes along the Schuylkill River.

Organized by:
Amy Gillette, Collections Research Associate, The Barnes Foundation
Kaelin Jewell, Senior Instructor, The Barnes Foundation
Martha Lucy, Deputy Director for Research, Interpretation and Education, The Barnes Foundation
Martha Easton, Assistant Professor of Art History, Saint Joseph's University
